The Differences

The differences:

Past: Time it took to read a novel/book completely - 2 days [max]
Present: Time it takes to read a novel/book completely - 25 days [and counting]

Past: Where I would read a novel/book - Lying comfortably on the bed
Present: Where I read a novel/book - In the Loo

Past: Number of novels/books I used to read in a month - 5-7 [easily]
Present: Number of novels/books I read in a month - 1 [and still reading]

And that, dear friend, is the big difference !

Past was when I was a free bird. Free as northern winds, doing anything, anywhere, anytime.
Present is when I am a bird. Bird as ofmy better-half [extra emphasis on OF].

DISCLAIMER: This is just the current state of my reading and does not necessarily apply to life in whole [who wanna mess with the better-halves].

ha finally. Me finished two novels in two days. Its not how many books you read that matters, what matters is that you are still reading. And which book are you reading anyway. I just finished “The Broker” by John Grisham and “Black Wind” by Clive Cussler.

I’m reading “The Tipping Point” by Malcolm Gladwell. It’s not a novel, but a very interesting book.

But remember dear, there are people who wait to see you blogging and have you on their (read “me” ;) blogroll just to make sure they don’t miss you :)

Hi Neeraj, It seems we are on the same boat. Unfortunately I have read your post after I posted mine, otherwise I could have taken some matter from your post.

It was lovely reading your post. Your better half is lucky to have a bird like you.

    Cheers
    Nidhi
