Few days back, I sent a mail to Netvibes dev team regarding creating a bookmarklet for Firefox/Flock which could ease the process of subscribing to feed of a blog on Netvibes [those who are using Netvibes knows it's quiet a long process].

Well, the good people didn’t replied to my mail. So finally I thought of giving it a shot myself. As it turned out, it was very very simple to create one. So here it is:

It is infact a very simple bookmarklet. Whenever you want to subscribe to feed of a blog, simply click the bookmarklet which will open a new window. Then Netvibes will show you the list of available feeds for that blog that you can subscribe to.

If you are already logged in to Netvibes then the feed will be added to first page of your Netvibes account, else it will first ask you to login to Netvibes and then add the feed to first page. Simple as that.

[...] I have ben on the lookout for a Firefox plugin for Netvibes lately - simple things like adding a feed to my page (and being able to choose the tab perhaps?), especially installing something in the context menu (read: right-click menu) to help me click on a link and add that URI to my dashboard. Sadly, I don’t think such a thing exists. Instead, I found a ‘Add to Netvibes’ bookmarklet — pretty cool. [...]
