After months [or days or years or whatever] of inactivity, Flock crawled moved a number up and released Flock Developer Preview – version 0.5.11 [yessss ... up from 0.4.10].
There are quiet a few improvements to features as listed in Release Notes, including ability to import bookmarks from Firefox [bloody time they put this in place], TinyMCE is new blog editor & categories support for WordPress & other MT API blog platforms and improved flickr integration.
So, would I be taking my chances again by moving to the updated version ? Hmmm … I think I will. So I’m starting the download of new version, you can also do the same [if you wish to do so at your risk] from Flock Development Area.
In case you are interested, I wrote about Flock HERE, HERE [yeah! I was new to blogging that time] and a little bit HERE.

i have to say, firefox must be better
The problem with Firefox, that I have been facing, is the constant increase in memory useage over time, which is very annoying if one don’t have a high-end PC.
Flock, on the other hand, have been very consistant in memory useage, because of which I use Flock half the time and find it well worth keep on my PC.
i have the same problem with firefox. after a while it really stresses my comp. right now it takes twice as much memory as photoshop. so i have to check this out.
