Okay, so I waited. Looking around to see any interesting character to chat up with, or any damn thing interesting enough to pass the time. I thought about how I am going to write down my experience first time tomorrow morning, to whether I will be able to reach on time for my appointment, to what all possible routes I can take to get out of this fcuking jam !! Then I called up my better-half and told that I’ll be little late thanks to BMC, then to pass some more time we talked about what could be the possible menu for the dinner, to does our plan to watch After the Sunset still stands. Okay, that’s nice I did passed some good time and I looked at my watch and … I HAD PASSED JUST FCUKING 10 MINUTES !!

Then I thought of a possible workaround to this problem. A possible long-cut around this mess which meaned I would have to drive back some 2 Kms and take one of the small roads. Considering the possibilities I though it would still be better and I would still be able to save some time definately.

So I turned, just to see the long lone of vehicles that had already stacked behind me and I knew that instance that I am going to get some solid glares and sweet words when I will try to go back, but once I have decided I have to go, I have to go. So after another 10 minutes and loads of glares and few nice words I finally came to the empty road again, only to find that the cops are standing and are not allowing anyone to go in the wrong direction [FCUK FCUK FCUK !!!].

I tried to talk them into letting me go, tried few lies about me not feeling well and need to go see my doc and me knowing one of the traffic inspectors, but as usual everything fell on deaf ears.

So here I was, standing on the road, behind loong line of cars, trucks, bikes, scooters & cops. So behind that I was not able to see the place where I was standing earlier. And the wait began again !!!

Another 15 minutes [which felt like ages] later, I heard a cry that they have removed the road-blocks and are directing the traffic appropriately. SWEET !! So I put my helmet back and started my bike all ready to zoom through the traffic on my first hint of little space. And I waited .. waited … waited …. waited …. waited !! And then I got the good news. One of the earthmovers have broken down in the middle of the road [okay .. I was out of swearing by this time]. As a result, instead of letting go 3 cars paralleley, they were letting go just one at a time.

Due to all the commotion, the cops that were standing behind were asked to walk towards the blockage. Then I saw my opportunity and without giving it another thought I raced my bike back in the wrong direction to take the long drive down home.

Oh! I eventually reached home, but where it should have taken me not more than 30 minutes flat, it took me FCUKING 1 hour 30 minutes !!!! Oh! and NO !! I fcuking missed my appointment.
